Genius Hour Has Begun!
Students have chosen the essential question they would like to research and have just started their quest for information. Some of the topics include waterfalls, animation, movie making, Bob Ross, the Civil and Peloponnesian Wars and many more. After many months of research they will decide how they would like to share it with others.

Fourth and fifth grade students have been spending time researching their essential questions for GENIUS HOUR. There are questions about music, science, sports, the environment, cars, and much more. In January, students will begin turning that research into a project of their choice to share.

Calling all Geniuses!!
Every Friday, fourth and fifth grade students get to research what they are passionate about. Topics are being looked into such as outer space, viking ships, Paris fashion, minerals, music, and the list goes on and on. After many research sessions, students will share what they learned with others through a final project also of their choice. Students are choosing to create models, prototypes, Google Slides or tri-fold posters (just to name a few). Stay tuned for a presentation date!
