3rd Grade Fun with STEAM!  A couple of 3rd grades classes came in to solve problems as a team.  They had to design and create a parachute that would fall slowly and engineer towers out of a variety of materials.

Ms. Rose's class came in this week to create recycled robots with a purpose.  They were super creative and used the supplies given in an interesting way.  They were able to work on their cooperative learning skills along the way as well.

Mrs. Massagli's class came in this week to create recycled robots with a purpose.  They were super creative and used the supplies given in an interesting way.  They were able to work on their cooperative learning skills along the way as well.

Lego Wall Marble Tracks...Several fourth graders have researched and learned the science behind marble tracks.  After designing their own, they are building their tracks on the Lego wall.  The goal is to have at least two "drops" and have the marble caught at the end of the track.

In teams, first graders are designing and making robots that have a purpose using a variety of classroom supplies.  Their goal is to try to have at least one moving part as well make something for the robot to help with its job.

Marble Mazes, Makey Makey & Scratch!

Groups of fifth graders put on their engineer hats!  In teams, they designed and built marble mazes that can interact with Makey Makey via the Scratch program.  Students had the opportunity to share their creations with first graders!
